Biography
Achieve your best skin!

Born and raised in Washington DC, I'm proud to be a native Washingtonian. As a board certified and licensed master aesthetician in the District of Columbia since 2009, I have worked for several boutique spa’s, consulting each client with customized esthetic care, allowing me really start to hone in on my passion for remedying hyperpigmentation and discoloration in skins of color. My passion for skincare and the beauty industry first began with a seven-year career in genetics research at Howard University, where I conducted research on skin, pigmentation, and laser healing. From there, I branched out into a career in make-up artistry and discovered the field of esthetics, which I quickly fell in love with. Since then, I have combined my years of schooling and research experience to guide me in analyzing what works and why by conducting my own research into various skincare and make-up products and services, as well as keeping up with the latest scientific findings and publications on the skincare industry.
I have advanced training and certification from Institute for Laser Medicine for Fractionated & NonFractionated Laser treatment (including protocols to aid me in fading hyperpigmentation) and The Pastiche Method in Advanced Skin Analysis. I am a member of The National Coalition of Estheticians Manufacturers/Distributors & Associations (NCEA) and Associated Skin Care Professionals.
As someone who has battled with skin issues myself, I know first-hand what it’s like to feel unhappy and uncomfortable in your skin. I also know that most skincare lines on the market only mask the symptoms the skin is showing, and therefore don’t produce the results they claim, or worse, make your skin more sensitive and reactionary. That’s why I dedicated countless hours of my own time toward researching what truly works before so much as suggesting or using products on my clients. When the pandemic hit, this led me to researching how to put my hours of research into a product that I can stand behind and not only use on my clients in the treatment room, but share with fellow estheticians for their treatment rooms and ultimately share with the the population who experiences sensitive or compromised skin, leading to scarring and hyperpigmentation issues.

As a board-certified master aesthetician, I specialize in skincare solutions for hyperpigmentation and sensitive skin. Merging my background in genetics research and years of esthetic experience, I blend science with skincare to empower clients. My background fuels my passion for effective, results-driven products that truly transform skin health.
